A chance to experience your own creativity and exercise the imagination. A relaxing time to explore this unique method of painting. 'Art' is the moment of making as much as the end result - there is no right or wrong way to do it. This style allows the individual to experience the uniqueness of their own expression in colours, symbolism and story.

We will use water based paints, watercolour, coloured pencils etc., and use simple techniques to add depth and texture, ready to vision the story within the page.

Creative play is important for children in their development but the importance of this precious time tends to be overlooked in the busyness of every day adult life. These workshops offer much needed space just to be, dream, explore and express the inner worlds.

Workshops are two hours long with a 20min tea break.

Louise Amelia Phelps is an artist and writer from London. She combines painting, writing and textiles to bring her visions to life. She has exhibited in London, New York, San Francisco and Cairo. She has been published in anthologies and children's books and produced two of her own 'The Mother of Stars' and 'Eternity's Children'. Recent collaborations with musicians have resulted in multi media readings of her work which enchant young and old.
